Vulnerable Populations Project Community Outreach Worker – Temporary
We are seeking a caring individual with experience in the social service sector to fill this full time, temporary Community Outreach position as part of our Vulnerable Population Project. The position is based in Salmon Arm with the expectation the candidate would be willing and able to travel throughout the Shuswap. The SAFE Society received a grant for this project which is intended to address the needs of vulnerable people also experiencing domestic violence or abuse during the Covid-19 pandemic, therefore it is temporary in nature.
Sexual Assault Support Services Sexual Assault Support Worker – Casual/Afterhours Relief
The SAFE Society is seeking caring individuals to work casual and after-hours relief shifts as a Support Worker with Sexual Assault Support Services program. The successful applicant must be available to cover 24 hour emergency after-hours call outs for the program, have their own vehicle, and be available to travel throughout the Shuswap. The successful applicant must have knowledge, experience, and disposition necessary to effectively assist those who have been sexually assaulted in crisis situations.
